Who are we?
ITAC is a nonprofit consulting and training organization dedicated to helping NYC manufacturing and technology companies with programs that increase their top and bottom lines.

ITAC’s purpose is to strengthen the NYC economy by keeping manufacturing and technology jobs here. We provide training, consulting and expertise on topics that make companies more competitive. We are not just advisors, we are hands on and work with our clients to help them implement the changes that ensure their success.

ITAC is partially funded by NYSTAR (New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). We serve as NYSTAR’s designated Regional Technology Development Center for New York City and we are one of nearly 350 NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) locations across the country.

If your business is facing a technical challenge, the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) wants to help
SATOP offers up to 40 hours of FREE engineering assistance for qualified requests, utilizing the vast expertise of NASA and our Alliance Partners. If a fitting partner is found most challenges are resolved within 90 days.
Who can apply?
SATOP is available to any US-based small business or manufacturer (under 500 employees). Contact ITAC to apply
What kind of requests can SATOP accept?
Requests should be clearly defined, and focused on a specific project within one of the following engineering disciplines:
Environmental Electrical Electronics
Chemical Industrial Manufacturing
Materials Mechanical Structural
The project must appear solvable within 40 hours. Please be prepared to provide drawings, prototypes, or samples as needed, and be available to communicate with the Alliance Partner.
